Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Version 1.0-draft · Effective August 12, 2026
Plain-English summary: we do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We never have. There is therefore no opt-out you need to exercise — this page exists so that commitment is published, versioned, and easy to find.
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA (“CCPA”), gives California residents the right to opt out of the “sale” of their personal information and of its “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. Businesses that sell or share personal information must post a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link. This page is SneakBox’s standing statement on both.
1. Our position
SneakBox does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined in the CCPA — whether for money or for anything else of value. We have not done either in the preceding 12 months. We also have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing the personal information of anyone under 16, because the Service is restricted to verified adults (see Age & State Eligibility).
The limited disclosures we do make — to our payment processor, identity-verification vendor, shipping partners, analytics provider, and cloud hosts — are to service providers under contracts that prohibit them from using your data for anything except providing services to us. Service-provider disclosures are not a “sale” or “sharing” under the CCPA. The full list of categories is in Privacy Policy, Section 2.
2. Sensitive personal information
The CCPA also gives you the right to limit certain uses of “sensitive personal information.” The only sensitive personal information we collect is the identity-verification data described in Privacy Policy, Section 1, and we use it only for the purposes the CCPA regulations permit without a limit right — verifying age and identity, security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. We do not use it to infer characteristics about you. Because of that, no “Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information” link is required — but if our practices ever change, this page and the required link will be published before the change takes effect.
3. If this ever changes
Before any sale or sharing of personal information begins, we will:
- update this page and the Privacy Policy first, with a new version and effective date;
- add a functioning “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” opt-out mechanism on the website and in the App;
- honor Global Privacy Control browser signals as a valid opt-out, as the CPRA requires; and
- notify you at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
4. Your other privacy rights
Independent of sale and sharing, you can request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your personal information at any time — by emailing privacy@sneakbox.app or in the App under Settings → Privacy. How verification works and how fast we respond is described in Privacy Policy, Section 5. California residents may use an authorized agent as described in Privacy Policy, Section 6. We will never discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
5. Contact
Privacy questions and requests: privacy@sneakbox.app. [Counsel: confirm whether a toll-free number is required for CCPA requests at our volume, and add it here and in the Privacy Policy if so.]
